Are we ready to show?

Lots of horses are ready to show at some level of Working Equitation. If your canter work isn't very strong but your horse walks, trots, steers, yields to the leg and goes forward when asked, you may well be ready to try Level 1. Though it's not a bad idea to prepare your horse by attending a clinic or two to try out the different obstacles and to get some guidance from someone who has brought horses along in the sport.

Some riders and horses that have the easiest transition to Working Equitation have background in extreme trail; working cattle; dressage; western dressage; gymkhana; eventing; and many others.

Check out our Calendar Page for clinics and shows in our region or feel free to get in touch and we can help get you started!
